STORY:

Tief unter der Erde entwickelte die Umbrella Corp. in einem HIVE den tödlichen T-Virus.
Nach zahlreichen Experimenten an Karnickel, Hunden und anderen Säugetieren wird schnell klar, das trotz seiner Zellregenerierenden Eigenschaften der T-Virus hochgradig tödlich ist.
Obwohl ein Gegenmittel entwickelt wurde bleibt der T-Virus unaufhaltsam da der Virus nur innerhalb einer sehr geringen Zeitspanne neutralisiert werden kann.

Der Wert am Schwarzmarkt wird ins unermessliche geschätzt, was zum Diebstahl der Viren führt.
Um alle Spuren zu verwischen wurde der T-Virus im HIVE freigesetzt um so einen Unfall zu Simulieren und den Diebstahl zu verwischen.

Red-Queen, eine KI der Umbrella Corp. registriert den freigesetzten Virus und machte die gesamte Einrichtung dicht.
Zu dem wurde ein Gas freigesetzt, dadurch sollen alle Individuen in einen Schlaf fallen, neben Wirkung Gedächtnisverlust.

Ein Sondereinheitskommando wird sofort entsand um die Red-Queen abzuschalten, doch bald wird mehr draus als einfach nur eine Mission, der nackte Kampf ums überleben.
